The engaged couple Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have been plagued with split rumors. New reports claimed that the "Twilight" star is suffering from depression and that his condition is making a toll on his relationship with his fiancée.
CelebDirtyLaundry has learned that Pattinson admitted to The Telegraph way back in 2014 that he is struggling with depression. In fact, he disclosed that he is considering on seeking therapy for his condition.
"I would love to go into therapy but it makes me too anxious. I've been talking to a lot of people about it and I don't know. I kind of like my anxiety in a funny sort of way and I like my peaks and troughs. Luckily depression never lasts long with me," the actor said at the time.
Currently, there are speculations that Twigs and Pattinson are drifting apart. A friend of the couple confirmed that their engagement was on hold. The split is attributed to their busy career. Twigs is busy promoting herself on magazines and rubbing elbows with stars in the row of fashion shows like Versace. On the other hand, Pattinson is busy working on blockbuster films and he still has few indie projects on the way.
The couple is thousand miles apart as the actor filmed "The Lost City of Z" and work with Brad Pitt. Twigs catapulted to fame after being spotted next to Pattinson, but she earlier expressed her lack of interest about anything mainstream. However, her recent actions seem to show otherwise. Furthermore, it's obvious that she doesn't mind the benefits and popularity she garnered after being engaged to the "Life" star.
According to the report, "the reheated interest in his career and personal life are once again taking a toll on the 'Twilight' star, as his engagement to FKA Twigs appears to be crumbling." "The Childhood of a Leader" star returned to his love of privacy and has been maintaining a low profile. Could it be that Pattinson is going through another round of depression again?
Well, it is unlikely. Gossip Cop reported that Pattinson is not struggling with depression. The webloid even slammed the previous report. It stressed that it needs not say "how irresponsible or offensive it is to spread such unfounded claims."
Depression is not a topic that one should use to score traffic. The said mental illness is a sensitive issue and Pattinson only shared his condition after he had gone through it. He talked about his condition after he's done with the sensitivity that the subject requires.
GossipCop claimed that Pattinson is "doing just fine."
