Carrie Underwood looks better than ever as the new mom flaunts his post-baby body in a sexy pink dress at the 49th Country Music Association Awards.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, the "Jesus Take the Wheel" singer hit the red carpet during the CMA Awards wearing a pink gown designed by Gauri & Nainika.
The peplum top of the dress highlighted Underwood's fit arms and tummy, even just after a few months of giving birth to her son. Meanwhile, the top, which featured a plunging neckline, was paired with a long, mermaid cut trail to add a flair of elegance. Accessories and hairstyle-wise, Underwood practiced understated elegance with her sleek blonde hair down and simple drop earrings.
Meanwhile, everything seems to be doing well with the country superstar's family life and career. Underwood, who is married to NHL star Mike Fisher for five years now, recently went on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where she revealed that her baby son Isiah does not give the new parents a hard time. "He rarely like cries," she said. "So that’s a blessing when you’re, like, waking up at 3 o'clock in the morning and he’s, like, smiling at you. That makes it not so bad," per a previous Parent Herald report.
Also, in an interview with Cosmopolitan, Underwood said that her marriage with Fisher is doing well. "Everyone is getting divorced. They're dropping like flies! But we are good. It helped that we were both established before we were married. Neither one of us could be like, 'I didn't know it would be like this!'" she shared.
Underwood even told host Ellen that she and Fisher work hand-in-hand to take care of their first child. When her husband has a game the following day, she assumes the responsibility to take care of their son so that Fisher will get a good night's sleep. She told Ellen, "I think we’re both really good at picking up the slack when the other one is super busy."
In terms of her career, Underwood recently announced on her website that she will be going on a full tour after, following the release of her new album called "Storyteller." The tour will be titled "The Storyteller Tour -Stories in the Round" and will kick off on Jan. 30 in Jacksonville, Fla.
"I can’t wait to play new music from ‘Storyteller’ for the fans. I am so blessed to have this career and get to do to the things I do," said Underwood via the announcement on her website.
"The Storyteller Tour -Stories in the Round" will be held in 40 arenas in the U.S. and Canada. To know more about the tour dates and schedule, click here.
