Fans are very excited for the next installment of the popular series "X-Men." As we near "X-Men: Apocalypse's" premiere date more and more spoilers are circulating online. The latest report we got revealed that the film will span across Egypt and Poland.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" will most likely take place in the "X-Men: First Class" franchise per Movie Pilot, citing that most of the main characters are credited from the said film. The report suggested that no character from Bryan Singer's Trilogy will return in the upcoming film, including the fan-favorite mutant Wolverine.
The plot of the movie concentrates on Apocalypse and his arrival. But it's not all about him, "X-Men: Apocalypse" will also feature what happens before the titular villain arrived. This includes Professor X following through his promise from "X-Men: Days of Future Past" to the clawed-mutant to seek out the X-Men.
Wolverine mentioned to Professor X to find Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Jean Grey (Sophie Turner). The credits feature Ian Geldart, who is credited as an "Alkali Guard." Alkali refers to the Alkali Lake where Wolverine was born. In the movie, Mystique has taken Wolverine as it was left in "Days of Future Past" and has gone to Alkali Lake.
"X-Men Apocalypse" will begin with Professor X and Hank McCoy on the search for the mutants that Wolverine told him about. They will come across Cyclops first, then Storm and Jean. All three will be taught in the newly taught school. The event will take place shortly after "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and will show the arrival of the different mutants.
However, Charles Xavier would recognize Wolverine's absence and will send a team to Alkali Lake. William Stryker will transform Logan to Wolverine. As the two horsemen arrive, Apocalypse would also arrive and talk about how the future was altered and how it awoke him from his long sleep. This will be the new threat in "X-Men: Apocalypse" that the mutant superheroes have to deal with.
Meanwhile, ScreenRant reported that the "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer will be out soon as director Bryan Singer teased fans with a post. Singer took a selfie in a recording studio with John Ottman, who edited and scored "X2: X-Men United" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" sitting behind him. The photo was captioned with "Back in the cutting room w #johnottman teaser coming soon."
On a separate note, Parent Herald previously reported about Evan Peters talking about his role in "X-Men: Apocalypse." The actor revealed that Quicksilver will search for his father.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" will hit the big screens on May 27, 2016.
