Less than two weeks from now, the last installment of "The Hunger Games" series will hit the big screens. Fans are very excited to witness Katniss Everdeen's (Jennifer Lawrence) last adventure. Will the girl on fire be victorious in her goal of taking President Snow down in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2?"
On Thursday, the cast of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" gathered together for the London premiere. They were headed by the lead star Lawrence, who had an awkward encounter in the red carpet with fellow co-star Natalie Dormer, Realty Today reported.
According to People, Lawrence was trying to surprise Dormer with a kiss on the cheek while the latter was talking with the reporters. However, to everyone's surprise, "The Tudors" star turned her face around at the last second and the "Joy" star's lips landed on Dormer's lips.
However, Lawrence was quick to recover her senses from that awkward moment and just brushed it off with a laugh. In fact, she even jokingly said, "Oh my god, we just kissed on camera. And I liked it." On the other hand, the reporter told Dormer that she had some of Lawrence's lipstick on her face. The "Game of Thrones" star just replied with "I'll get Jennifer Lawrence off my face."
The said incident made people on Twitter went crazy. Many were quick to react and share their thoughts about the unexpected incident. Check out what happened in the following video.
Meanwhile, Dormer's character Cressida won't be competing in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2." She will be supporting Katniss on taking the Capitol down. "This is the fourth movie, it's the massive climax," Dormer told Women's Health." "We saw a little bit in Mocking Jay, Part 1, a little bit of the 'real world' out of the arena. In Mocking Jay, Part 2, you see a whole lot more. It's going to be epic, and I don't use that word lightly."
When the 33-year-old actress was asked what she would do if she's in the "Hunger Games" arena, she said she will run as far as she could. Then, upon a split-second of further thought she said, "I don't know. I'd die basically if I was in the arena. I think the cannon would go."
In the newly released "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" trailer, Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) continues her support to Katniss. She's been with her from the start and she will stand by her till the end, Daily Mail Online has learned.
