Several fans of the "Diablo" series are looking forward to hearing about "Diablo 3's" second expansion pack. However, no announcement about it has been made yet.
Good news is, Blizzard revealed the features that will be coming in the next patch of "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls." The next patch contains more loot, content and features along with new zone, new events, 16 new monsters and set dungeons, per VG 24/7.
Here's the list of preliminary features that were released during BlizzCon 2015.
- Set Dungeons - According to Attack of the Fanboy, new dungeons will open up when a player attains a six-piece set. This can be activated by stepping into the proper glowing green portal. This is designed to test the gamers' mastery but offers unique rewards and achievements.
- New Zone - a brand new zone called Greyhollow Island will be introduced. However, this area will only be accessible through Adventure mode. This features a new set of enemies, GameSpot has learned. Furthermore, adventure mode players will also be able to access the expanded versions of two other areas which have new events and rewards. The Ruins of Secheron will extend into a new place called Eternal Woods while the Royal Quarters will now be available via Leoric's Manor.
- Empowered Rifts - this feature gives players an opportunity to turn their hard-earned gold into a greater chance of glory. One still needs to risk by spending some of his gold to increase the number of possible Legendary Gem upgrades at the end of a successful run to gain a fourth bonus roll.
- New Legendaries - Aside from the numerous set of revisions, Blizzard is also adding over 40 legendary powers in the next patch of "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls." They will add powers to existing power-less Legendaries, will introduce fresh items and will update existing powers that previously lacked that familiar orange text.
- Season Rebirth -The developers recognize that after finishing one season, some players wanted to jump straight into the next one without the end-of-Season purge. This is now possible with this feature because per Blizzard they wanted gamers to transit from season to season "quickly and seamlessly." This option will also be great for players, who are fond of a particular hero because they can now keep his legacy going and if they prefer to jump straight to the new season they can do so.
