Will Queen Elizabeth be leaving the throne soon to pave the way for Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles? New reports claimed that the royal couple is eager to assume the throne.
According to CelebDirtyLaundry, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are being greedy to be crowned king and queen as soon as possible. In fact, they are determined to force the crowned queen to her retirement. Prince Charles and Camilla were reportedly thrilled to see thousand of well-wishers in the town of Nelson line Trafalgar Street as they continued their New Zealand tour on Saturday.
To confirm their rising popularity, the royal couple made several stops around the town before they headed to Mahana Vineyard, where they sampled local wines, cheeses and seafood.
Queen Elizabeth was supposed to make the trip to New Zealand but, due to her fragile health, her top advisors suggested to have Prince Charles and Camilla pursue the appointment. Her advisors anticipated that the long trip will surely exhaust the 89-year-old royal queen physically and mentally.
The report suggested that Prince Charles and Camilla already traveled to New Zealand three years ago. They had a good rapport with Prime Minister John Key. Thus, it made sense to have the royal couple represent Queen Elizabeth.
Camilla has been waiting for years to be crowned queen and she is willing to do just anything to ensure that she will assume the throne in time. If it means taking over the reigning monarch's commitments, then she will gladly do it. The Duchess of Cornwall will do anything to stay in Queen Elizabeth's good graces.
Will the people love Prince Charles and Camilla when they assume the throne? Herald Sun reported that Malcolm Turnbull's book stated the royal couple engaged in "unashamed adultery." This may prompt the people to never accept the Prince of Wales as a monarch.
The book that was published in 1993 stressed that Princess Diana's marriage was "a miserable pretence" and noted that "Prince Charles had maintained, throughout his marriage, a sexual liaison with Camilla Parker-Bowles."
"The more conservative members of the community who were inclined to support the monarchy were shocked by his apparently unashamed adultery with the wife of another man," Malcolm wrote. "Women -- who as a whole tended to be more supportive of the monarchy than men -- were repelled by his apparent coldness to Diana."
Parent Herald previously reported that Queen Elizabeth's first choices were Prince William and Kate Middleton, but her advisors believe that both still need more time and training to assume the throne. However, the Duchess of Cambridge is also determined to be crowned queen and she is giving Camilla a good fight.
