Is Pippa Middleton broke? According to a report from Celeb Dirty Laundry, Kate Middleton is going to have a new business venture, an organic food line, and the Duchess of Cambridge is saving her 32-year-old sister by giving her a job.
Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that unlike her mother Carole Middleton, who from being a flight attendant has worked her way to having a successful business, and her sister Kate, who bagged Prince William after changing universities, Pippa did not have the same luck in love and career. The Stir says that when it comes to her love life, it was hard for the Duchess' sister to find a man who will not be "intimidated by the paparazzi." Meanwhile, Pippa's professional history has been on a roller coaster ride as every path she chooses has been criticized by the public.
Pippa started a career in public relations, having a number of jobs including an events manager for a corporate events company in London. However, Pippa's public relations path was not that fruitful, so she tried writing. In 2012, Pippa published the book "Celebrate: A Year of British Festivities for Families and Friends," which talks about how to host parties including recipes, tips and everything you need to hold an event. Unfortunately, Pippa's stint in writing was again cut short due to low sales. The sister of Kate Middleton was also slammed because, according to critics, her writing was "obvious and unhelpful."
Now, Kate is hiring her sister in her new business. Daily Mail's sources say that it has been the Duchess' passion to grow organic produce at Anmer Hall, which will also be connected with the said business. A source of the news outlet reveals, 'It's a concept for now but it will happen -- just give it 18 months or so. And it's natural that it should do so. One day Prince William will want to have a profitable business attached to his estate to generate funds -- both charitable and otherwise -- just like his father does."
Duchess Kate is not the first in the British royal family to have a food line. Prince Charles, the late Princess Diana's husband, also has more than 200 products sold through Waitrose supermarkets. His brand consists of bacon, jam, beer and a lot more. Part of the sales from Prince Charles' food line funds the royals' charitable causes.
Incidentally, Celeb Dirty Laundry notes that Pippa has started studying to become a nutritionist in May 2015. The timing seems to be just right, as Daily Mail notes that Pippa will be "loosely involved" in Kate's future business.
