There is an endless talk as to who will assume the throne after Queen Elizabeth. Earlier reports claimed that Kate Middleton and Prince William are next in line. Unfortunately, the monarch's advisors want Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles to succeed her because they believe that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge still need more time to prepare and train themselves.
However, Kate is up for the challenge. The royal mom is ready to prove her worth and show to the people that she is more than a pretty face per Express. The report suggested that the mom of two has grown her passion for children after delivering two kids. The 33-year-old royal is even working on her oratory skills to "lead conversations" about the issues that she wants to discuss.
Kate is planning to step out of William's shadow to take her own charity works to "the next level," according to the royal insiders. The sources claimed that the Duchess has not given many speeches in the past and when she does she felt the pressure of being a "newer member of the Royal Family in the spotlight." Some took this negatively against her, suggesting that she doesn't have so much to say, but it's not true at all.
"The tone of some of the reporting of the Duchess has not always chimed with the woman she really is," one source said. "She is highly intelligent, well-briefed and does her research, including reading scientific papers. She is very engaged with all the issues concerning young people and is at the heart of a great many conversations behind palace gates."
Kate is determined to make more speeches and she will do so in the upcoming royal engagements. She was previously criticized for being "style over substance" focusing more on "what she wears than what she says" but people who knew the celebrity mom well, do not agree with it.
Sources close to William's wife think that she has her own mind. "Catherine is a confident, self-assured woman," one of Kate's friends described her. "She is kind. She is caring, but she isn't a doormat. She knows her own mind and can give as good as she gets."
Meanwhile, the feud between Kate and Camilla continues to grow as Prince Harry defended his sister-in-law from his step-mom. The Duchess of Cornwall calls Kate a commoner and her stepson was fed-up, CelebDirtyLaundry reported.
"[Kate's] more regal than YOU'LL ever be!," Harry yelled to Camilla on a recent argument, according to a Palace insider. "Get off your high horse - you're not even a real royal! You're the product of one of your mother's flings!"
Camilla claims that Prince Charles confessed his doubts about Harry's paternity and she is now ordering him for a DNA test.
