LeAnn Rimes has been plagued with pregnancy rumors all throughout the year. However, the singer remains childless, but she's a proud step-mom to her husband Eddie Cibrian's children Mason, 12, and Jake, 8.
Although Rimes appears to be enjoying her role as the second mom to Cibrian's two sons, she was still labeled as "evil stepmom" by the tabloids, which she doesn't understand. However, she is determined to keep her peace and did not bother to explain why she should not be dubbed as one.
"I just kind of let the B.S. roll off," Rimes told Entertainment Tonight during a sit-down interview. "People's attitudes -- it's like, 'God bless you for thinking that, and you really don't know my situation. Thanks for the input.'"
As for the pregnancy issues, it started when fans noticed on her reality show "LeAnn & Eddie" that she had stopped taking birth control. However, the singer-actress dished the rumors and just laughed it off. She even joked, "I've been pregnant four or five times this year already [according to false tabloid rumors]."
Rimes admitted that she takes prenatal vitamins, but insisted that it's "not for any reason other than hair." Maybe some were disappointed to learn of this, knowing that Rimes' mini-me will not be visible soon. Although the "How Do I Live" singer has no plans of having a baby anytime soon, she hinted what she would like with a baby.
"I think I would probably have a Baby Bjorn, and singing with the kid," she joked. "It's hard to put them down. They're so cute."
The singer is now focused on her new album "Today Is Christmas" which features two original songs co-written by her. However, although Rimes and Cibrian are going strong and have no issues, her husband has no input on her album. Why didn't she ask for his opinion?
"I don't really ask his opinion anymore, because I know he's going to be like, 'It sounds great, babe!'," Rimes explained. Well, that is how her husband appreciates her works. It just shows that he is really a fan of her.
Meanwhile, Rimes previously insisted that she is not worried of the public's opinion when it comes to her figure, The Hamilton Spectator reported. She claimed that she only works out to enjoy the food she loves. "I love food and I literally work out so I can eat what I want. Because I love food and wine and I love tequila and that's what I want. I want to be able to eat and drink," the "Coyote Ugly" star explained.
Rimes enjoys working out and even shares that she does boxing and Pilates. When do you think she'll slow down and have her own kids? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
