Fans have several movies to look forward to from Marvel. First on line is "Captain America: Civil War" which will be hitting the big screens next year. However, the talks about the Avengers next battle in "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" is slowly making headlines and soon the hype for this film will be unstoppable.
"Avengers: Infinity War" will be filled with action and goodbyes as key members of the "Avengers" are expected to take their exit in the franchise through this film.
According to io9, Marvel President Kevin Feige teased about the future of Marvel movies in an event to celebrate the home release of "Avengers: Age of Ultron." He talked about "Infinity War" acknowledging that it will be the final appearance of the current crew of Avengers and possibly, the conclusion of MCU's storyline revolving around Earth's mightiest superheroes.
"It definitely is an end to some version of the team that we've come to know in The Avengers. Who knows exactly what's gonna happen yet in that film but I think this version of that team, and I think we hint to it at the end of Age of Ultron, that the team will be evolving," Feige said.
"And one of the things that we love from the comics is that the roster is always changing. New people are coming onto the team. You can pick up an Avengers book 10 years later and you don't recognize the people on the cover, but the ideas and the ideals that make the Avengers the Avengers still exist and I think that's part of what this culmination will be."
Feige explained that the next version of the team will still be doing the same thing in the universe. He stressed that this change is the not the end of Marvel Cinematic Universe but perhaps "Avengers: Infinity War" will be the culmination of a part of it.
MoviePilot reported that Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America will unlikely die in the "Civil War" as what was plotted in the comics, but there are theories that he might die in "Avengers: Infinity War." Moreover, there are speculations that Thor will also be doomed in the said film.
On a separate note, Yibada reported that Loki will likely team up with Thor and the rest of the Avengers against the Mad Titan, Thanos. The Asgardian trickster God will revenge for the destruction of Asgard in "Thor: Ragnarok." Per Venture Capital Post, Vision will also die. Thor is collecting the Infinity Stones and one of which is in Vision's forehead, which will doom him. The deaths of these characters will pave the way for a new team of Avengers.
Meanwhile, there are a lot of talk about the identity of Thanos, who will be the main villain in the "Infinity War" suggesting that he is the father of Star Lord. We will see. "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" is slated for release on May 4, 2018.
