Can you hear wedding bells ringing? On Wednesday, Nov. 18, "Teen Mom 2" star Chelsea Houska revealed on Instagram that she is now engaged with live-in boyfriend Cole DeBoer. Houska broke the news by posting a photo of her with DeBoer captioned with "He's stuck now!" On the photo, Houska, who's a young mom to daughter Aubree with her ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind, flashes a big sparkling rock on her finger.
According to StarPulse, Houska and DeBoer have been dating since August 2014. Their love story started at an unexpected meeting at a gas station; Houska thought he was cute and made eye connected, connected on Facebook and the rest is history. Now, the "Teen Mom 2" reality star opens up how DeBoer popped the question.
“Cole brought me to a personal spot in the woods where he had photos lining the tree. The pictures hanging were of him and I and the three of us as a family, Houska revealed on DeBoer's well-thought proposal. She continued, “Cole asked Aubree if it was okay if he married her mommy. She immediately said yes, was extremely excited, and gave him a big hug."
On another Instagram post, Houska gave "Teen Mom" fans an up-close look on that shimmering engagement ring. The young mom captioned the photo, "I honestly cannot believe how lucky I am. Finally found my Prince Charming and I get to be with him for the rest of my life!"
But amidst this engagement high, one question is still in our minds -- what does Houska's dad Randy has to say? Us Weekly reports that Houska's dad, who is a dentist from South Dakota, recently tweeted about her daughter's engagement and has given his blessings, as well as some advice. On his tweet, Houska's dad said, "Prince Charming > toad Ready to add another #soninlaw Lesson to you all: #DoNotSettleForLessThanYouDeserve Congrats @ChelseaHouska & Cole.”
The dad of the 24-year-old bride-to-be also teased how it will be great if Houska and DeBoer’S wedding will be documented on TV. He joked, “If only there was another season of #TeenMom2 so you could all follow along.”
As for the relationship between Houska's dad and his future son-in-law, the two seem to be getting along well as seen on a previous Instagram post of the "Teen Mom 2" star back in October showing her dad Randy and future husband all smiles while hanging out together.
