Adorable couple Adam Levine and Behati Prosloo is plagued with divorce rumors. Is their marriage hitting the rock bottom? Are the lovers about to split? How did these divorce rumors start?
According to reports, Adam and Behati couldn't get themselves to agree on starting a family. OK! Magazine reported that the Victoria's Secret model is now ready to be a mom, but the Maroon 5 vocalist is pumping the brakes on baby making.
The report suggested that Adam wants to secure his singing career first before committing to a family life. After the current season of "The Voice," the singer plans for a massive North America tour starting in September 2016, which will happen after the Latin American leg of the tour in February and March of 2016.
Aside from this, Adam is busy writing, recording or touring with his popular band Maroon 5, aside from his regular voice-coaching gig on "The Voice." While he is very occupied with all his commitments, Behati is just waiting for him to slow down so they can start expanding the Levine family.
Adam told Behati that he wanted to have kids too, but he is not ready at the time. Currently, Maroon 5's popularity is growing. As CelebDirtyLaundry put it: "Levine knows that the entertainment industry is fickle and he needs to ride that wave until it dies."
Unfortunately, the supermodel wants to get pregnant sooner, which doesn't reconcile with the plans of her husband. Per In Touch Weekly, Adam was going out all the time and hanging out lately with other models. Behati found about her husband's whereabouts and accused him of "chatting up girls" behind her back. "[Behati Prinsloo] was livid and they had a huge fight. It's a sore spot for her," one source said.
The report suggested that although Behati is a model she has her set of insecurities, which lead to more issues in their marriage. "[Behati Prinsloo] never wanted to be that nagging wife, but now she is, constantly calling or texting Adam to see where he's at. It's driving him crazy-and pushing him further away. He promised Behati that after they got married, things would change-and they haven't," said the source.
However, Adam was quick enough to slam the rumors about their divorce. "That's so mean. We're so happy, why would you do that?" he told Elle. "We don't ever pay attention to those things. It's funny timing because we were on our second honeymoon and I got this influx of texts like, 'Are you guys okay? What's going on?' and people also listen to this stupid stuff that they write about."
