Nintendo Direct is still mum about the release of "Pokemon Go" and "Pokemon Z," prompting eager fans of the game to come up with their own speculations. They seem to have found the answer from CoroCoro magazine, which promises to reveal more surprises about "Pokemon" in its December issue.
iDigital Times reported that CoroCoro already provided hints about the game in the magazine's November release where it showed a preview of a blue-gemmed Zygarde Core. The same preview also noted there will be "big" news about "Pokemon" when CoroCoro comes out with their Christmas edition by Dec. 15.
However, Serebii noted that CoroCoro's December issue usually publishes details about any "Pokemon" movie releases for the following year, so it's still not certain whether there will be some "Pokemon Z" updates. The franchise is also about to celebrate its 20th anniversary in February 2016, which could refer to the big news.
Nintendo is expected to go all out for the anniversary and has earlier announced that the original Gameboy gadgets in its red, blue and yellow versions are going to be re-released limitedly next year, per Movie Pilot. The news outlet also reported in a separate story that CoroCoro might be revealing new forms of the Zygarde for "Pokemon Z," which could consist of the following:
Cell - which doesn't have any consciousness and its form is distributed all over the world.
Core- which is considered the form's brain and thus possesses awareness.
10 percent growth - which refers to the form in its dog-like state as it begins to attract cells.
50 percent growth - which alludes to the Zygarde's slightly evolved serpent-like form, a progression from its earlier state.
Complete evolution - which makes the Zygarde a humanoid, the protector of Pokemon's world.
Meanwhile, the release of "Pokemon Go" for the iPhone and Android has been marked for official launch in early 2016, per the official site. The mobile game is expected to make use of real-world location information as players do their searchers, meaning they could be looking for Pokémons in their own neighborhood. The intention here is to open the game to real-time social experience that will have users "connecting with other players to enjoy trading and battling Pokémon," the official site stated.
"Pokemon Go" is also going to offer players the ability to make use of Bluetooth technology in their devices, which will light up and vibrate in case a Pokémon is in their location. Nintendo has worked the details out with Google, so that this interactive experience is made possible.
