'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' Release Date & Trailer: Gameplay Out March 2016, Black Friday Sale Includes 'Unchartered: Nathan Drake' Collection PS4 Bundle

As Black Friday fast approaches, more deals that feature big discounts as well as great bundles are popping up. Not to be ousted by rival game console company Microsoft, Sony released its own discounted bundle at a very appealing price.

Sony has announced a price drop for its PlayStation 4 console, and will sell it along with the “Uncharted: Nathan Drake” Collection for only $299 at select retailers in the U.S. This is a limited offer, which starts Thursday Nov. 25 and will last until Cyber Monday, Nov. 30. It will also be available for $369.99 CAD in Canada, from Friday, Nov. 26, until Monday, Nov. 30, only.

In a PlayStation Blog, Sony announced that the bundle will include a 500GB PlayStation 4 console and single-player campaigns for three “Uncharted” games: “Uncharted: Drake's Fortune,” “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves” and “Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.” Each of the three games from the PS3 era has been remastered for the PS4 and will feature 1080p resolution while running at 60 frames per second, as well as new game modes.

This is timely as those who weren't able to play the earlier installments can play it now, while old players get the chance to have a replay before the fourth installment, “Uncharted 4: A Thief's End,” gets released in March 18, 2016.

PlayStation Brand Marketing Vice President John Koller wrote of the bundle in the blog:

“It’s an incredible price for an awesome PS4 bundle. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends – and be sure to put this on your shopping list during Black Friday weekend because this deal won’t last long!”

PC Magazine reported that in addition to enjoying the earlier installments' gameplay, this Black Friday bundle will also give players access to the “Uncharted 4” beta that will run on Dec. 4 to 13.

Earlier, rival company Microsoft announced a price cut on its bundles. Tech Crunch reported that entry level bundles featuring a 500GB Xbox One console will come with “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” or “The Lego Movie” and will cost $299. Apparently, Sony stepped up the competition with its own announcement.

Now, with both companies selling their respective game consoles at $299 both, fans will now have more options to choose from.

What do you think? Would you prefer Sony's PlayStation 4 bundle? Or would you rather have Microsoft's Xbox One bundle? Pitch in your comments below.
