Many were hooked to the American comedy-drama series "Orange Is The New Black." When its last season ended, fans were looking forward to its next season and many rejoiced when the show was renewed for season 4.

TV by the Numbers reported Netflix's announcement that "Orange Is The New Black" Season 4 will be coming in 2016. Since then, the hype about the hit TV series has never subsided. Recent reports about the show revealed that it will return with a twist.

Here are the 5 things we know about "Orange Is The New Black" Season 4.

1. The show will feature how Tasha deals with her new responsibility.

Danielle Brooks who played Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson in the show shared some revelation about the upcoming season. In the last season, her character was left off taking over Vee's role and she told Vogue that "We're going to see how she deals with that."

2. The new season will be epic.

On the same interview, Brooks revealed that the season turns in a totally different way. The prison will be overpopulated and new inmates will add to the tension. The show will be tense. "This season is going to be epic. It's one of the best that they have written so far. There are some surprises that are going to tear you in half," she said.

3. Alex survived the attack on season 3.

TV Guide reported that Piper's girlfriend will still be around on Season 4. Her character will return to Litchfield and she will be more vigilant, now that she knows the potential threats against her. In fact, she will be bolder. "I don't think you're going to see a more timid side of Alex," Laura Prepon describes her character in the new season. "If anything, she's justified in her paranoia. ... That empowers her, in my opinion."

4. John and Daya may not reconcile.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dascha Polanco shared her thoughts about the reconciliation between her character and that of Matt McGorry's. "I would love to see that, but you have to be realistic," she said. "He walked out of her life and her main priority right now is figuring out how she can take care of her child." Her statement suggested that Daya might just move on and focus on her child.

5. Piper and Alex will always have a connection.

Parent Herald previously reported that fans want Prepon's character to be dead, thinking that she has already served her purpose, but it seems that among her purpose is to be there for Piper always. "You can't control where your heart goes, and Alex and Piper will always have a connection," Prepon said.

"Orange Is The New Black" Season 4 will return on Netflix in 2016.
