'Just Cause 3' Release Date& Review: Gameplay Trailer Released; Massive Area, Multiplayer Mode & More! -- What You Need To Know

For gamers who love the action-adventure video game series "Just Cause," Avalanche Studios and Square Enix have released an extended video for "Just Cause 3." The clip featured the over the top open world action game's primer.

According to GameSpot, the new clip featured the first hour adventure of "Just Cause 3." This will help gamers understand the upcoming title more and provide a sneak peek of what to expect in the game.

Per CNET, in "Just Cause 3," the gamer will take the role of an elite operative on a mission to free his homeland from a brutal dictatorship. The gamer will have to blow things up, ride on the backs of airplanes, cars, firing rockets and helicopters and generally, cause a lot of chaos to accomplish his mission.

As for the "Just Cause 3" trailer, Death Metalist posted his review in Neogaf describing the feels and chills of the upcoming title. "The game starts off pretty strong and pretty much throws you right in the mess of things while teaching you some of the mechanics. Literally within the first 10 or so minutes you'll get the wingsuit and tethering objects. I could only make 2 tethers and the maximum is," he said. "Of course, that's only possible by upgrading it thanks to your gear mods menu option, you do challenges to unlock crazy upgrades that concerns pretty much everything you use. Weapons, grenades, hook.etc"

On a separate note, there were speculations that "Just Cause 3" will come with a multiplayer mode. In a separate report from GameSpot, the team behind the game admitted that they considered it. "We did talk about it a lot," the developers revealed.

Game Director Ronald Lesterlin explained that the social features of the current game enable players to share experiences, which benefitted games like "Just Cause 3." He noted that Avalanche is not ruling out the idea of a multiplayer, but their focus at the moment is not about it. "It doesn't mean we wouldn't think about what to do with multiplayer in the future, but for this first time around we wanted to pour all our love and energy into a great single-player sandbox to start with."

Thus, "Just Cause 3" at the time only provides a single-player-only experience.

"Just Cause 3" is slated for release on Dec. 1 across PC, PS4 and Xbox One. PS4 edition runs at 1080p while the Xbox One version runs at 900p.
