Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Kids: Celeb Dad Reveals He's in Charge of Thanksgiving Dinner

The Jolie-Pitt household is all set for Thanksgiving and dad Brad Pitt said that during this holiday, he's the guy in charge of the Thanksgiving dinner.

"We've got Thanksgiving, man - I'm all over that turkey," the actor told Extra during the red carpet interview for his new movie "The Big Short." Brad also said that cooking is a huge deal in the family and he does make a mess in the kitchen, especially when he's cooking for eight people in the family.

However, the actor loves doing his duties as a father per Us Weekly. "I can't describe a father's pride," he said. "I feel so much of it...there's a lot of emotions." He added that his children with Angelina Jolie are "so warm and they take on more than anyone could understand, more than I could ever understand." The 51-year-old dad takes pride in watching his kids learn and grow.

Maddox, 14, and Pax, 11, are already taking part in the movies of their parents by contributing behind the scenes, as previously reported on Parent Herald. The rest of the kids -- Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7 -- also visit the movie sets, but they mostly play and watch their mom and dad work with the cast and crew.

Meanwhile, right before the holiday, Angelina was with her family in Cambodia to work on her movie "First They Killed My Father." She told People that she got her "baby fix" among the children in cast. Her production office is filled with toys, which the actress gives away to the 250 children that were hired for a scene. "It's my 'I love babies' fix," the actress confessed.

The humanitarian also revealed that doing the movie tugged at her maternal side so much, it's probably one of the hardest directorial jobs she's done. The kids had to pretend to be working in labor camps. "They have to cry and scream. My instinct is to want to cut and hug everyone."

"First They Killed My Father" is based on the book written by Loung Ung which detailed how she survived the Pol Pot regime and oppression Cambodians experienced during the Khmer Rouge period. Production for the movie was announced back in July and it will be released on Netflix by late 2016, per Deadline.

Meanwhile, Brad's "The Big Short" follows the lives of bankers who were instrumental in foretelling the housing market crash in America. It's based on a book by Michael Lewis and the film is set for a Dec. 23 regular theater run, per Variety.
