'Persona 5' Release Date & Trailer: Game Execs Reveal Characters Follow Moral Compass, Unique Plot & More Details Coming Soon!

Loyal fans and new gamers alike are impatiently waiting for the release of "Persona 5". Although, the fans were disappointed that it is not going to be launch this year, there are already speculations that it will surely be put on the market in 2016.

The Japanese video game developer and publisher, Atlus, have already released a video trailer of the most anticipated game this year for PlayStation to show a little teaser of what they have been working on so hard.

According to Realty Today, the company, headed by their game director, Katsura Hashino, said to have asked for understanding from the fans for the delay of the release and added that it will be worth it once it comes out.

"Persona 5" is said to be different from usual video games. Hashino and the game lead designer, Shigenori Soejima, said that the game's plot will change the people's perception on RPG games. They added that they will explain more about the game in the near future, Yibada reported.

Aside from the trailer, there was also a revelation of the characters of the game that will definitely give the fans something to get excited about, Realty Today reported.

The Protagonist, who they described as a "Harry Potter" look-alike, is the main character of the story and the leader of the Phantom Thieves.

Ryuji Sakamoto, who sports a blonde hair, is considered to be a "problem child" with a really bad behavior. His cannon-like arm and a skull head make him more like a pirate than a regular high school kid, like how they portray most of the characters of the game.

A female character named Ann Takamaki has a persona of a beautiful girl who isolates herself because of her odd appearance but always hangs out with Ryuji and the Protagonist.

Soejima also revealed that they will be showing more game teasers in the future prior to its official release.

"We still have a lot left to show, so hopefully people keep an eye on us and wait to see what's coming up," Soejima said.

"Chief among those, in fact, is more allied characters that we have yet to show, but I'd say that we won't be running out of new stuff to reveal anytime soon. So stay hyped and sit tight until we finally get this game out in your hands!" he added.

"Persona 5", which will be released next year, is a game created exclusively for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
