'Captain America 3: Civil War' Trailer & Plot: Teaser Released; War Machine Set To Die In Sequel? [Rumors]

"Captain America 3: Civil War" has started to get the Marvel Cinematic Universe up on their feet with the recent release of the official trailer for the third installment for the "Captain American" franchise.

Expectedly, there were a lot curious characters and plots now set, leaving many of the viewers to speculate and do their rounds of forecasts on what will happen on this installment which also features a couple of characters from the famed Avengers.

The standout character and twist here seems to be centered on Bucky (Sebastian Stan), the best friend of Captain America (Chris Evans) way back in the first film that was supposedly killed. Bucky returned in the form of the Winter Soldier and was responsible for saving Cap towards the end of that movie.

The two are set to reunite somewhere in the film and if the trailer is any indication, it may be the thing that starts the conflict within the Avengers as mentioned via the Hollywood Reporter.

Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) expectedly appears and it seems that the conflict will start from there.

For those who remember "Captain America 3: The Winter Soldier," it will be recalled that Bucky did make quite a mess. The government may want Bucky under their jurisdiction but the conflict arises when the proposed act regulating superhuman activity comes into play.

And leading the way on behalf of Bucky is no other than his friend, Captain America and this is where the conflict within the Earth’s Mightiest Superheroes kicks off.

So, now it is time to take sides. Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) seems to be siding with Cap and Bucky and so with the Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and so on.

On the part of Iron Man, it looks like the only one sure taking his side is War Machine which is understandable since James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) is technically linked to the military forces.

Speaking of War Machine, one scene from the released trailer did spur up a lot of interest. This is with regards to that scene where Iron Man holds a fallen War Machine which hints at the idea that he will die in "Captain America" 3.

That is, however, left up for debate and much of the points were listed over at Movie Pilot on what the scene meant.

It should be noted that a major hit from someone or something could lead to such a state, with the face mask obviously ripped apart for the fallen Rhodes by most likely Iron Man.

On the death angle, how many times have we seen Tony Starks go through that state and still come out alive? Of course the two are different, but seeing War Machine killed off seems a bit unconvincing at least at this point.
