'Spider-Man' 2017 Movie Cast & Spoilers: Captain America & Iron Man Appearance Happening? [Rumors]

We know that Iron Man and Captain America will be up against each other in the anticipated blockbuster film "Captain America: Civil War." Will these two superheroes work again as a team in a separate movie? There are speculations that Steve Rogers and Tony Stark will appear in the 2017 film, "Spider-Man."

According to ComicBook.com, Robert Downey Jr. a.k.a Iron Man and Chris Evans a.k.a. Captain America appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Monday. The titular superhero in "Captain America: Civil War" complained about the climate in Atlanta, but it seemed that he needed to film in the same location again.

"By the way, we are going to shoot in Atlanta again, you and I," Downey Jr. told Evans. The latter agreed by saying, "I know, I'm ready, I'm ready."

The report stressed that the only Marvel film slated for Atlanta is "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Doctor Strange" had already announced their filming locations and it is not in Atlanta.

Now, many are wondering if Downey Jr. and Evans' conversation meant that the Avengers would be joining "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." However, director James Gunn already disclosed that Iron Man would not be in the film. He also stated that Quill is the sole human character in the film for the time being which makes it unlikely for the Star-spangled hero to appear in the film either.

Parent Herald previously reported that Gunn does not want to integrate the Avengers with the "Guardians of the Galaxy." "We have our own galaxy to save. Earth is the Avengers' province. Thinking that everything is going to come together in a perfect way is not necessarily the way it's going to happen," he said.

While many are wondering what movie the two actors were talking about, Tom Holland, who will be playing the next "Spider-Man", disclosed that they will be shooting in Atlanta. In an interview with Superhero Hype, he said: "We're shooting in Atlanta for most of it because they have studios there and I think it's cheaper to build a New York set than it is to shoot here because it's going to be very expensive. We probably will end up here (in New York) for one week or two."

It looks like the mystery is solved. Yes, it is unlikely for Iron Man and Captain America to appear in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" but the two superheroes are very likely to appear in the next solo "Spider-Man" film. In fact, Spider-Man will make his first appearance in "Captain America: Civil War."

We will see what happens next. Meanwhile, you can watch these superheroes in the upcoming flick "Captain America: Civil War" which will premiere on May 6, 2017.
