According to the DailyMail, the younger Hemsworth revealed in a recent interview that his brother, "Thor" actor, has paid all of their parents debts. What's more incredible is, he did that without telling them that he was going to settle their liability which surprises their parents.
The news outlet reported that Chris called their father and asked him to take a look at his bank account. Liam said that his father called Chris back and said: "I don't know how to feel. Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I'd be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared." The "Mockingjay" star added: "They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us, I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that."
Liam said that he considers his brother his role model and added that he wish to do the same good-hearted deed in the future.
Coming from a humble background, the Hemsworth brothers didn't let Hollywood success get into their heads as they both never forget to go back to where they came from.
In a report by Complex, Chris used to work in a company that clean breast pumps and did that for a living before making it big in Hollywood and became the "Sexiest Man Alive" according the People magazine. The Huffington Post stated in the report that Liam, the youngest of the three siblings, is also showing good sides of himself as he works for the Australian Childhood Foundation as an ambassador. The organization helps children that are going through mental issues due to bad experiences. Their parents have also worked for the group. Good hearts definitely run in their family.
"If you want to be a good person who adds to society, you have responsibility. That is something I take very seriously," Liam said.
