The much-awaited installment of the "Just Cause" series finally came out. While many experts think that the game lives up to its expectation, there are others who are saying that the third installment definitely needs more improvement. Nevertheless, the game will take you to the incredible journey of its protagonist Rico Rodriguez.
According to Kotaku, the new creation by Avalanche Studios certainly has its highlights. However, it is just so hard not to notice its flaws as you go along with the game.
In a review given by the website, it stated that the game could not even run consistently with their 4GB GTX970 GPU and a 3.5Ghz Intel i7 CPU set up.
"Running the game in windowed mode helps things, but only a bit: My experience has been significantly hampered by bugs, visual glitches, and performance hitches, along with several hard crashes to desktop," the news outlet reported.
"Early technical performance reports from people who've played the console versions are troubling, however," it said. "Given how mixed I am on 'Just Cause 3' in general, I'm not comfortable recommending the game until I'm sure of whether the final version will work properly," Kirk Hamilton wrote.
The performance of the game may improve if drivers are updated or when they release patches for updates.
In a report by Game Spot, the display and effects of the games is definitely spectacular. It makes you feel like all the superheroes combined. The news website's review also concluded that the game works better on PC than played on consoles.
Meanwhile, according to a review posted in PlayStation Lifestyle, the game looks the same when played on PC and gaming consoles. However, it also mentioned that it performs a little better on PS4.
"What's clear is that neither version of 'Just Cause 3' is able to sustain a locked 30fps, but it is indeed the Xbox One release that offers a noticeably lower level of in-game fluidity."
"In our tests, we've compared both cut-scenes and gameplay, and our lowest recorded drop occurs on Xbox One, where a massive explosion sends us plummeting to 20fps, while PS4 plateaus to 24fps in entirely different circumstances - with CPU power the likely culprit for bottlenecked performance there," the review in PlayStation Lifestyle explained.
The latest installment of the series will be launched tomorrow for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
