Many fans have been very excited when rumors started to circulate that the new "Half Life 3" will be launched sometime soon. However, it would seem like the new speculations going around the tech world will disappoint a lot of people.
It is reported that the new installment of the "Left 4 Dead" series will come out prior to launching the new "Half Life 3". If the reports are indeed true, Valve, the company behind the two hit series, definitely knows how to confuse fans, The Youth Health Magazine said. Apparently, "Left 4 Dead 3" will come out as a prequel.
Vine Report mentioned that the original writer of "Half Life", Marc Laidlaw, responded to an email sent to him by a fan which was posted in Reddit with regard to the rumors circulating about the game.
"I can't comment on Valve's internal process but it sounds like someone is trolling. Anonymous sources have been posting speculation masquerading as inside knowledge since the 'Half-Life 1' delay in 1997," he allegedly explained. "If it's any comfort, please rest assured that in my experience at Valve, fear is the last thing that would ever drive a decision about what to work on," Vine Report relayed.
In a report by the Daily Sun, Valve CEO Gabe Newell hinted that it may take more time before the new installment of "Half Life" gets created because the main focused of his team at this time is to create a multiplayer game with enhanced content. Since "Half Life" is mainly a single player game, the new "Half Life 3" might be out of context as of the moment.
Newell explained: "The only reason we'd go back and do like a super classic kind of product is if a whole bunch of people just internally at Valve said they wanted to do it and had a reasonable explanation for why [they did]."
Meanwhile, it is reported that the new "Left 4 Dead 3" will include three new playable characters. The characters will include a woman named Katherine and three men.
The group of men is reported to be composed of a gangster, a nerd and a famous Kenpo fighter. The gangster's name is Irvin, while Keenan is the name of the comic book nerd. Garrett Jr. will complete the new group of characters; he is said to be the Kenpo known fighter, as reported by The Youth Health Magazine.
