Celebrity mom and reality star Nicole Richie was recently spotted wearing a crazy, slouchy all-black outfit while with her two children at an airport in Los Angeles, the Daily Mail reports.
Richie appeared as if trying to hide herself from any onlookers, in slouchy black pants, a baggy shirt and black boots matched with a black leather jacket, wide brimmed hat and giant coke bottle shades.
In contrast, Richie's children - daughter Harlow, 5, and son Sparrow, 4 - looked casual cute, Harlow in a pretty pink dress and Sparrow wearing shorts, a t-shirt and sneakers while rocking a baby mohawk. The usually chic and fashionable Richie looked questionably in her strange all-black ensemble, even her nails painted black to match. Richie is generally noted as one of the best-dressed women in Hollywood.
Days before, Richie was spotted wearing the same baggy get-up (minus the hat and jacket) while out in Australia. She recently returned from a trip to Australia to take her children to visit her their father, Richie's husband rock star Joel Madden, who is currently working as a coach on the Ozzie version of "The Voice."
On March 8, Richie's own show premiered on NBC: "Fashion Star," in which she is a panelist alongside Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos. Additionally, she currently hosts the AOL talk show "Candidly Nicole," where she shares parenting, style and relationship tips.
Despite she and her husband working far apart, Madden spoke to "60 Minutes" last month on his relationship with Richie, as the Daily Mail reports.
"We were friends, but I don't think I'm the obvious choice," he said on the show. "I'm always like, 'Just give me a shot, just give me one date.' If I can get my foot in the door, that's how it's always been with girls. I've never been the obvious [choice]. That's how it was with my wife, I just said, you know, 'Gimme one shot.'"
