The newly-released sneak peek of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" had fans on their heels on Monday as they find themselves glued to their chairs for 50 seconds while watching the nerve-wracking scene between Batman and Superman.
The intense moment came when Superman approach the chained up Batman then takes his familiar mask off, International Business Times noted. Superman appears to be holding Batman as his prisoner in the trailer shown during the fall finale of "Gotham." Fans should be very excited what follows that scene as Superman discovers the man behind the mask.
In the scene, Bruce Wayne did not look thrilled at all when his identity was unveiled by his nemesis, Clark Kent.
Although Superman appears to be the bad guy in most of the released trailers, the plot of the movie is yet to be reported. In the last footage, the Man of Steel landed in what appears to be a cave while his men guarded Batman.
The men who have guns with them bowed down to their hero as he approaches the prisoners. Fans may also soon discover who the two people that were held captive as a prisoner by Superman, the news outlet gathered.
According to Slash Film, Monday's footage is just a taste of the upcoming trailer that will come out this Wednesday. It will be shown during the Jimmy Kimmel Live on Dec. 2. The news portal also added that the scene could be just a dream from either of the superheroes.
The people behind the movie have really done a very good job in their official sneak peeks so far. They always leave fans wondering what's going on and the new footage is no different, as it definitely has all the people waiting for this film wanting for more.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is directed Zack Snyder, who is also known for his work with the action packed movie, "300." The film stars Ben Affleck, who plays Batman, and Henry Cavill as Superman.
Other members of the cast include Gal Gadot, who plays the role of Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and the talented Laurence Fishburne as Perry White. Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter and Diane Lane will also be in the movie.
The Flash who will be played by Ezra Miller and Aquaman will have little cameos in the movie.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit the theaters on March 26 next year.
