Kim Kardashian will host an all-female baby shower this weekend where the sex of her baby will be revealed. The event will include a reluctant appearance by her boyfriend Kanye West, and Kim's sister Khloe recently said in a radio interview that West is feeling "uncomfortable" about being the only guy in attendance, the Daily Mail reports.
"He feels like it's a little weird for him to be the only guy," Khloe said to radio host Ryan Seacrest during an interview on his KIIS-FM morning show. "It's girls only, but Kanye will come at the end." West is notoriously camera shy, and has refused to even attend his girlfriend's sonogram which determined the sex of their child, as reality crew cameras were also present during the big moment.
Kim reportedly had to beg her boyfriend West to attend the shower, as he was uncomfortable with the idea. The shower will also be filmed for her show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," and sources say that West doesn't want to appear on the show at all, nor does he want their newborn baby to. However, West realized it would be important for him to be there, so he agreed to make a brief appearance towards the end.
"Kim had to beg Kanye to stop by the baby shower which is taking place on June 2. The baby shower will be filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and he just doesn't want to appear on the show at all, period," a source said, according to the Daily Mail.
Khloe said that her basketball player husband Lamar Odom and her sister Kourtney's partner Scott Disick planned on bringing West to the shower. She said she does want one want man at the event: her younger brother Rob Kardashian.
"I want Rob to be there the whole time because I feel bad," Khloe said. "He's, like, left out of all this stuff, so I said come the whole time. I don't know if he is."
Kim and West have reportedly been having disagreements over whether or not their baby will be filmed on "The Kardashians," as West is apparently adamant that his child be kept away from the spotlight. In an interview with RadarOnline, Kim was hesitant to give an answer as to whether or not her baby would be filmed on the show as her sister Kourtney's kids often are.
"I don't think so. Not as of right now," she vaguely said when asked, though her sister Kourtney was quick to chime in and say "Never say never!"
The sex of the baby will be revealed this weekend during the shower, a highly anticipated Kardashian event.
