It's a Girl for Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Channing Tatum is thinking pink. The 33-year-old actor and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed their first child, a baby girl in London, Thursday, May 30, according to reports by Us Weekly. However, other details about the new arrival, including weight and name, are yet to be released.

Though the celebrity parents haven't come forward directly to break the news, Jamie Foxx, co-star of Tatum in his upcoming film "WhiteHouseDown", confirmed the news on Twitter.

"Big luv 2 my @WHD costar @channingtatum + wife @jennaldewan + their new baby. Welcome 2 the world little Tatum," Foxx wrote, June 2.

The baby arrived while the expecting couple was in London for the shooting of Channing's upcoming movie "Jupiter Ascending". According to the reports, Channing, who was impatiently waiting for "the biggest role" of his life, will be concentrating more on his duties as a father than anything else.

"The baby will get top billing as far as priorities go," a source told Us Weekly. "Channing is going to be the most adorable hands-on daddy ever and do whatever is necessary to make sure Jenna can balance it all."

Little Tatum's arrival has given the whole family immense joy. "Becoming a grandad and grandmom while speaking for Jenna's mom, is a wonderful life experience. Emotional, cant stop smiling," Jenna's father Darryll Dewan told E! News. "Anxious to meet our grandchild and hug Jenna and Chan. They are an amazing couple and will be great parents. I'm very excited for everyone in each of our families."

The "Magic Mike" star met "The Playboy Club" actress during the shooting of the movie "Step Up" in 2006. The couple, who got engaged in 2008, tied the knot the following year in California. The couple announced their pregnancy in December 2012.

Tatum, who started his career with a music video released in 2000, shot to fame with his roles in movies like "Dear John" and "21 Jump Street".
