Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 is one of the hottest sneakers to debut this year and with the latest design dropping only last November, there are already some hints about what the next color for this footwear will be.
According Sneaker News, a new Yeezy Boost with a tan shade might possibly be unveiled this month and, in fact, West has already been seen wearing the pair during the 2105 MTV Video Music Awards last August. The news outlet stated that the official name for the colors read "LGTSTO/OXFTAN/OGTSTO," which could probably indicate it has shades along the lines of Light Stone and Oxford Tan.
Sneaker News also reported that this new color might come out by Dec. 29. The rumors apparently come from the closed Facebook group Yeezy Talk Worldwide. However, there is no actual confirmation from Yeezy or Adidas itself.
High Snob Society reported back in October that people thought a tan Yeezy Boost 350 was going to drop in stores for its November release. This was once again based on Kanye's outing of the footwear at the awards night. However, to everyone's surprise, it was an all-gray version called the Moonrock that hit the shelves last month.
So far in its first year of release, otherwise termed as Yeezy Boost Season 1, the brand has already come up with an all-black colorway and the all-gray colorway for the 350. Per Footwear News, the black Yeezy Boost 350 was sold out as soon as it was released in August, while Moonrock was no longer available immediately after its weekend release last November.
The news outlet also reported in a separate post that there are a couple more Yeezy Boost 350 colorways that were spotted in Kourtney Kardashian's Instagram posts. However, these models have yet to arrive on the shelves. One of them included an all-white pair, but there was no tan pair in Kourtney's line-up.
The low-cut Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 was bestowed the Shoe of the Year Award by Footwear News' 29th Annual Achievement Awards, per Entertainment Weekly. A pair cost $200 and it's the favorite footwear of celebrities like Justin Bieber, Brooklyn Beckham and Drake.
Yeezy Boost also has a high-cut version, the 750, and the limited military boots type called the 950. Kanye originally collaborated the release of a footwear line with Louis Vuitton in 2008 and then a year later, Nike became the rapper's partner for the Yeezy. However, by 2014, Kanye switched to Adidas, which generously offered him royalties for his shoes too, per Nice Kicks.
