The royal family is plagued with several controversies. Kate Middleton is reportedly competing with Camilla Parker-Bowles for the throne and Queen Elizabeth is reportedly disgusted with the Duchess of Cambridge's commoner way.
In fact, in a recent report from Parent Herald, the monarch was not happy when Kate shared a snapshot of Princess Charlotte. The royals only shared stage moments that are captured by a professional photographer and what the royal mom did depict her commoner ways again.
However, the royals took a break from their personal issues. A new photo of the royal family revealed not a single sign of any royal feud.
Kate and Prince William were spotted at Costa Coffee. Along with them were the monarch, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Prince of Wales. All were happy and were enjoying each other's company.
In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted enjoying a hot drink and a kiss under the mistletoe. Queen Elizabeth was sipping on a dainty espresso while flicking through the latest copy of OK! Magazine. Camilla and Prince Charles were behind the monarch chatting, Mirror reported.
While it is very wonderful to see the royals in this scenario, it is not what it seems to be.
The people at the place were professional impersonators who were invited by spoof photographer Alison Jackson "to imagine what it would look like if the family had spent a long day traipsing up and down the high street in search of presents."
In one instance, Queen Elizabeth took a royal selfie with the rest of the royals, which the report described as something unusual. "In one particularly bizarre shot, the five family members are even caught snapping a Royal selfie," per the Mirror report.
Meanwhile, according to Daily Mail Online, two eight-feet wooden posts topped with acorn carvings were erected at the entrance of Bucklebury, Berkshire where Kate spent the majority of her life. The Lord of the Manor Willie Hartley-Russell agreed with it believing that those posts were a "fitting commemoration of the Royal Wedding in 2011." Unfortunately, the residents think otherwise.
The residents want those "ugly" sculptures to be removed and that it should be "ripped down and turned into firewood."
One post has a plague that reads: "Welcome through one of the historic gates of Bucklebury." "To commemorate the wedding of Catherine and William XXIX. IV. MMX," the other read. However, residents do not agree that those posts have something to do with them.
"I haven't seen them up until now. What on earth has Willie Hartley Russell done that for? There is absolutely no reason for them to be there," one resident said.
