The world's first "pregnant man" Thomas Beatie wants to have another child.
The 38-year-old transgendered man recently split with his wife of nine years gave birth to three children: 4-year-old Susan, 3-year-old Austin and 2-year-old Jenson.
The current decision comes after he met Amber Nicholas, the new love in his life.
"Amber and I are totally smitten. We would love kids together and we're already discussing it," Beatie told Sunday Mirror. "I would love another girl so I have two of each. But any kid is a blessing."
But, this time he wants to experience pregnancy as a father and wants Nicholas to carry the child.
"Being pregnant was the most incredible experience, but we want Amber to do it this time around," he told Sunday Mirror. "I think it would be amazing to experience pregnancy as the father."
Apart from that, Beatie, who has experienced all the discomforts of pregnancy, also wants to help Nicholas in solving her morning sickness and fulfil her pregnancy cravings. However, he also does not have any problem to carry a child if Nicholas faces any difficulties to conceive.
The 38-year-old made headlines after becoming world's first legal man to give birth to a child in 2007. After the first birth, he gave birth to two more children.
"I'm a person and I have the right to have my own biological child," Beatie told People magazine in 2008.
He announced his decision to split with his wife Nancy early this year, in April. Beatie, originally a female birth underwent two gender reassignment surgeries in 2002. Though the surgeries transformed him to a legal man, he kept his female sexual reproductive organs intact.
As his wife Nancy was not capable of conceiving following a hysterectomy, he agreed to carry and give birth to their children. Beatie was transformed to a complete man after he underwent his final female-to-male gender reassignment surgery in April.
Nicholas has two children from a previous marriage: 21-year-old Lauren and 15-year-old Mattison.
