Several gamers are drooling to get their hands on "The Elder Scrolls 6." Unfortunately, it seems that the title will not be coming anytime soon.
MNR Daily reported that Bethesda is concentrating on another game, "Fallout 4." This title is currently enjoying the limelight, while "The Elder Scrolls 6" is taking a hiatus. So, for gamers who wanted another adventure after "Skyrim," the wait will be long.
The report suggested that it might take a considerable amount of time before Bethesda Softworks could start working on "The Elder Scrolls 6" because the team is throwing its weight behind "Fall out 4."
"Morrowing," "Oblivion," and "Skyrim" have won game of the year award and, following its success, fans around the world are eager to know when "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be released. There were speculations about "Argonia" and "Redguard", but it turned out to be a hoax, N4BB reported.
Meanwhile, there were speculations that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be released before 2015 ends. However, an official source denied it. New rumors are pointing out for 2016 to 2017 release date.
While we still do not know when the title will be available, let us just discuss the things that we want to see in the game. Per Movie Pilot, Elsweyr, the region of Tamriel, is perfect for the "Skyrim" sequel probably because this region is divided in two separate nations that offer unique terrain and wildlife. The location features a dessert-filled badlands in the North and dense jungles and woodlands in the South, which offer a degree of diversity.
Elsweyr is the home of the Khajit. However, despite the fact that the place is rich in cultural history, interesting and beautiful landscape and tons of lore to uncover, the area is too small. If one looks at the map of Tamriel, Elsweyr is perhaps a little bigger than half the area of "Skyrim."
"The Elder Scrolls" requires enormous lands to get lost and experience the adventure. Fantasy games usually require expansive countryside and wildlife, as well as dense and lively settlements to visit. In fact, in "Fallout" series it's more dense than large. The settlements are filled with an endless roster of quests to embark upon and countless buildings with undergrounds to explore.
Since Elsweyr is too small for a location alone, some are considering on taking two locations instead. There are speculations to combine Elsweyr and its neighboring land Valenwood. These two locations have outstanding contrast against each other. So, when combined, these locations are sure to give gamers the most diverse RPG map for "The Elder Scrolls 6."
Will Bethesda consider these two locations when they work on "The Elder Scrolls 6"? Do you find Elsweyr and Valenwood great locations for the upcoming title? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
