‘Frozen 2’ Trailer & Release Date: Princess Anna Discovers Own Power, To Be The Next Villain? [Rumors]

It's still a long way before we see Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Olaf and other "Frozen" characters return to the big screen for "Frozen 2." However, as early as now, there have been a lot of rumors surfacing online about the possible storyline and angles that the film will tackle. Now, reports say that there will be a big twist for "Frozen 2" as the once good Princess Anna will go to the dark side and be the next villain.

Movie News Guide previously noted that the sequel to Disney's "Frozen" may have an unhappy ending for sisters Queen Elsa and Princess Anna as well as the rest of Arrendale, which rose to speculations, per Bit Bag, that Anna might turn into a big baddie. According to the news outlet, Princess Anna will be harboring her own superpower, which she, in turn, will use against Queen Elsa.

In an interview with HitFlix, director Chris Buck said that Princess Anna will have her own superpower. "Her superpower is love. That's Anna's superpower," said Buck.

However, director Jennifer Lee hinted that it might not be as subtle as what it seems, saying, "You know, like a mama bear can raise a car off their kid with their super strength, love is very powerful."

To further corroborate with the said rumor, Cross Map adds that the new villain for "Frozen 2" willbe a woman.

Meanwhile, in other Frozen news, Parent Herald previously reported about the possible marriage between Prince Hans and Princess Anna. Australia News Network reported a fan-made video by MMD Animations on YouTube, which showed the antagonist on the first "Frozen" film marrying Queen Elsa's younger sister. However, the marriage is a sham.

In the video, Prince Hans can be seen placing an amulet or necklaces on Princess Anna's neck while she's sleeping. Then, the next scene shows Princess Anna walking down aisle with the necklace, surprisingly getting married to none other than Prince Hans. Merida from "Brave," Olaf and Kristoff also appeared on the scene, hiding behind the church door. The three came into conclusion that Prince Anna is only marrying Prince Hans because she had been hypnotized using the said necklace.

The three tried everything to get the necklace off Anna's neck, until it snapped before the two said their "I do's." Anna regained consciousness; furious of what happened, she told Prince Hans that she would never marry him. Watch the video below.
