There is no doubt that fans are drooling to see the next action adventure of the Avengers. In the anticipated film "Captain America: Civil War," the team will be divided in two: one lead by the titular superhero Captain America and the other by Iron Man. How did the superheroes end in two factions?
To answer this question, Marvel released a new footage explaining the rift between the two brothers. Yahoo Tech! reported that the 95-minute clip explained the things behind "Captain America: Civil War."
"Civil War is about the government saying hold on a second Avengers just because you can be the first responders across the globe doesn't mean you should be," executive-producer Nate Moore said. "All superheroes should be registered. They should no longer be vigilantes."
When it comes to this point, Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America and Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man did not share the same perspective and it torn them apart. Some Avengers supported the Star-spangled superhero while the others rooted for Stark.
While the Avengers are battling with each other, Kevin Feige revealed that there would be a character who will not be involved in that rift as he will remain neutral. The president of Marvel Studio was talking about Black Panther, who will make his debut in "Captain America: Civil War."
Per MoviePilot, Black Panther has always been identified by a sense of neutrality in the comic book. He is flexible at all times. Co-director Anthony Russo confirmed that the superhero "never chooses side."
"What's great about Black Panther in this movie is, all the characters choose a side, Captain America's side or Iron Man's side. Black Panther never chooses a side," he said.
In the trailer, Black Panther is seen chasing down Bucky Barnes a.k.a The Winter Soldier. There are speculations that he runs after the super-soldier because the latter killed his father T'Chaka while he was still controlled by the Hydra.
Parent Herald previously reported that Black Panther sided Iron Man, following the concept art shared by Jeremy Renner, the actor who plays Hawkeye in "Captain America: Civil War."
The Avengers in the photo with Iron Man includes Black Widow, The Vision, War Machine and Black Panther. On the other hand, fighting with the titular superhero are Hawkeye, The Winter Soldier, The Falcon and Agent 13. Spider-Man and Scarlet the Witch were missing in the poster, but the two superheroes are reportedly siding with Cap.
Will Black Panther help the Avengers reconcile in "Captain America: Civil War" given that he is not siding with either Captain America or Iron Man?
We will see. "Captain America: Civil War" will hit the big screens on May 6, 2016.
