'American Horror Story: Hotel' Update: Season 6 Confirmed by FX -- Here's Who'll Be Returning [Rumors]

Are you ready to be more scared? FX just recently confirmed that the bloody, crazy world of "American Horror Story" will be returning for Season 6, and MoviePilot reports the possible cast members who will return for the new season.

According to TV Line, FX renewed the brainchild show of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk because of the great ratings that "American Horror Story: Hotel" have been receiving.

FX CEO John Landgraf said,“With the sixth installment coming next year, 'American Horror Story' has unquestionably joined the ranks of television’s landmark series. From Murder House to Hotel, AHS has pioneered a new television form as well becoming FX’s highest rated show -- while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity.”

MoviePilot notes that some old favorites might be returning to "American Horror Story" Season 6. One of the rumored cast to return is Jessica Lange.

“If Ryan came to me and said, ‘Would you want to do a small character for a couple episodes?’ I would absolutely say yes if I liked it. This was a great collaboration, so I would love to keep working with him," she said.

The show's recent lead, Lady Gaga, has impressed the show's creator in playing the role of Countess Elizabeth in "American Horror Story: Hotel." Murphy even tweeted the "Poker Face" singer, inviting her to join the AHS Season 6 cast.

Another "American Horror Story" alumna, Emma Roberts, has also expressed her interest in returning to the show. It can be remembered that Roberts played major roles on "American Horror Story: Coven" and "American Horror Story: Freak Show." In an interview with Yahoo!, the "Scream Queens" star said how he loved AHS Season 5 and is looking forward to working with Lady Gaga.

“Ryan and I said next season we’ll do something amazing and devilish. I love this season, I watch most of it with my eyes closed, but I think I get the gist. I love Lady Gaga so much, so I was like, ‘Next season I want to work with Lady Gaga for sure,’” Roberts said.

Though it will be exciting to see these actresses return to "American Horror Story" Season 6, we must take these with a grain of salt until official details of the casting are released. Per TVLine, "American Horror Story: Season 6" has no title yet and is slated to release in Fall 2016.
