Good news for "Fallout 4" players, Bethesda has just released its first major patch since its launch. On a Twitter post yesterday, Dec. 8, Bethesda officially announced that it would be releasing "Fallout 4's" 1.2 update while an update for the Xbox will be released "later this week."
According to Polygon, the patch arrived yesterday for the PC version and today for the PlayStation 4. Last week, Bethesda first released a beta version of the said update on PC, and, just a week later, the developer published its final version of "Fallout 4" patch 1.2 for PC, PlayStation 4 and eventually on Xbox.
GamesRadar notes that Bethesda is planning to churn out more smaller updates in the future. These updates will be released more frequently than what they did for "Skyrim" and "Fallout 3." Aside from the updates, "Fallout 4" gamers can also expect new items and a paid Season Pass. In a recent post on Bethesda's official website, the developer said that they are not yet sure what to include for the "Fallout 4" Season Pass. However, just like what they did for "Oblivion," "Fallout 3" and "Skyrim," the Season Pass may clock in at $30 to $40.
"Fallout 4" patch 1.2 will offer a couple of new features for the PC including using the number keypad for remapping and the Remapping Activate on Quick Container. As for the fixes, it generally fixes "Fallout 4's" stability and rendering for a more improved gaming experience. However, Polygon notes that the recent patch does not include a fix for the "blurred vision bug," which makes the players go back to zero and restart his playthrough.
Here are the patch notes, per "Fallout 4's" official forums:

- Number pad keys can now be used for remapping (PC)
- Remapping Activate now works on Quick Container (PC)
