Superstar mama and actress Angelina Jolie turned 38 on Tuesday and her fiancé Brad Pitt took Jolie and all six of their children out to dinner in Berlin to celebrate, the Daily Mail reported.
The family is currently in the city to promote Pitt's newest film, "World War Z," and they managed to calmly transport all of their kids from a restaurant to their waiting car after dinner, where they were photographed by paparazzi.
Jolie looked elegant in a simple black dress and cream-colored heels, Pitt dressed in a leather jacket, black shirt and black pants, his long hair tied up in a ponytail. Their son Pax kept a low profile wearing a beanie, shades and listening to his iPod while the family packed into their vehicle.
The Brangelina brood includes Pax, 9, Maddox, 11, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 4. The children appeared very well-behaved as they left Kutchi, a sushi and grill restaurant, with their parents.
Pitt is taking a break with his family after a busy week promoting his new movie, though of course the famous clan created quite a frenzy of photographers and onlookers as crowds of people gathered to watch them leave. Jolie held hands with Zahara and Knox on their way to the car.
A source told E! News the family spent nearly three hours at dinner in a private room, beginning at about 9:30 p.m.
"They ordered speciality ramen, dumplings and sushi. Brad loved the toro sushi. Angelina and Brad sat across from each other. They seemed very happy together," the source said. "The kids sang Happy Birthday to Angelina and a strawberry pudding cake was brought out."
People also reported Pitt surprising Jolie with a birthday dinner in Paris the day before, at the high-end restaurant Il Vino, where the couple enjoyed a tasting menu and a medley of French wines, according to staff members.
"They came in very unobtrusively. It was real fast," one diner said to People. "They walked by, and I said to my husband, 'I think I just saw Brad and Angelina walk by us.' And he said, 'I think you may have had one glass of wine too many already.'"
The couple has had a tough year so far, after Jolie underwent preventative double mastectomy, she lost her aunt Debbie Martin to breast cancer.
