"Halo 5: Guardians" was one of the most anticipated video game before it was released late this year. Fans were happy when it finally came out because it is how they expected the game would be -- action packed.
Just two months after it came out, 343 Industries will give players another treat for the holiday season as it already announced the release of a new DLC for the game, which will surely raise the game to another level.
According to Cross Map, players will certainly like the new weapon, M41 SSR Rocket Launcher, that is included in the update. The news outlet also gathered reports that a Forge Mode feature will also be in the new DLC, along with new vehicles, emblems, armor skins and more.

The update was previously revealed during The Game Awards by Microsoft and 343 Industries. There will also be a new map included in the update, and the company is hoping it will keep players busy and continue to enjoy the game.
The new update will also introduce online multi-playing that will give players the opportunity to compete with different gamers higher than their current ranks. Participants will get REQ Pack with an emblem as a price from the company. The season will start on Dec. 15 until Jan. 31 of next year.
The company also mentioned that there will be minor changes included in the new DLC when it comes to game controls. It will also help fix bugs that were evident during its released. Nevertheless, 343 Industries has not released a complete list of changes.
Meanwhile, the Halo World Championship started last Sunday. Cross Map reported that the prestigous event is an online tournament that will give players a chance to compete against each other for a prize that is reportedly the biggest ever for the franchise, $2 million.
There are different teams from around the world that will join the competition. The North American team will compete against the teams from the United Kingdom, Asia, Latin America, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Australia. The championship will happen March next year.
With the new update from the company, "Halo 5: Guardians" sales are expected to skyrocket.
