'Five Nights at Freddy's Game Story & DLC: The Untold Story' Release Confirmed, 'FNAF' Lore Unveiling in Book Form

Several gamers are hooked with the indie point-and-click survival horror video game "Five Nights at Freddy's." The game's success even inspired a movie adaptation. However, that's not all, because the game's designer and creator Scott Cawthon revealed that he is working a book adaptation for the game.

Cawthon announced the book by updating his official website with the image of the upcoming novel's book cover. Per Realty Today, the book will be titled "Five Nights at Freddy's The Untold Story." The book cover features the Freddy Fazbear similar to how it was designed in the games, and behind him is a bloody sky background with a silhouette of a creepy tree that one usually finds in any horror film.

The report suggested that the upcoming novel would be addressing all the mysteries lurking the game since the beginning of the series, "Five Nights at Freddy's 1." For fans who want to uncover the secrets and untold story of the game, all your questions will soon be answered because the electronic copy of "Five Nights at Freddy's The Untold Story" will be released via Amazon Kindle on Dec. 22.

Cawthon announced the making of the novel though Steam. "This is not something recent; I've been working alongside a professional writer for the last ten months crafting this story, and I'm very excited about the finished product. It expands the mythos and reveals a human element never before seen in the games," he wrote.

"The book will be for Amazon Kindle first, but that doesn't mean you need a Kindle. You can use the Kindle app, which works with iPhone and Android and even your computer. It will also be in stores in hardback for 2016!"

Although "Five Nights at Freddy's The Untold Story" is already an interesting title for every fan of Cawthon's work, he updated his post in Steam and wrote: "The official title of the book will be revealed on the 15th. 'The Untold Story' is just a placeholder and will not appear on the novel."

Reality Today reported that "FNAF" are divided in a debate regarding the infamous bite. One group believes that the victim was bitten by an animatronic in 1987, while another group believes that the bite occurred in 1983. A video by 8-bit Gaming discussed the clues thoroughly pointing out that "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is the only true story and that the first three games, "FNAF 1," "FNAF 2" and "FNAF 3" are just nightmares of the victims who lies in a coma after being bitten by an animatronic.

With the coming of the anticipated book, fans are hoping that it will finally answer this question. Cawthon will be announcing the official title of the book today. Do you have any idea what the title is? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
