Supercell has finally released their biggest "Clash of Clans" update, but were the gamers pleased with the anticipated update? Or are they disappointed with the unwelcomed additional features that come with it?
Last week, Supercell made the anticipated "Clash of Clans" update available to the gamers. Per iDigitalTimes, the new changes include a new defensive structure called "Eagle Artillery," addition of the third hero the Grand Warden, new troops levels for witches and minions, and new defensive units like the Wizard Tower.
Goblins are now stronger for it can damage against Town Halls and Clans Castles twice than it can do before. "Clash of Clans" map has been increased to 44x44. Personal Break online-time limits have been reduced from six hours to three hours. However, the overall time for a personal break will be extended rather than reset to zero in the case of a lost connection or server maintenance.
Per Yibada, after the update, the gamers are penalized for a few minutes after three hours of unprotected cumulative online time. The timer resets after receiving a shield or if the gamer has not been attacked for 30 minutes.
The report stressed that the update comes with several issues. First, the personal break system. There are some circumstances when gamers cannot get shields due to constant attack, which results in the counter continuing to rise without being reset.
Another problem concerns the new Village Guard. The new element is meant to sustain clan when the gamer is away. If the Village Guard is active for 30 minutes during an attack, the allocation time continues counting towards the three-hour limit. When the player is ready to log in, chances are he or she will be kicked offline because he or she has already reached the three-hour limit. Worse, this feature is functioning without the user's control over it.
For "Clash of Clans" gamers who love to check Clash throughout the day or engaged in small activities with their Clan members through chatting or gathering resources, these small activities will add to the ceiling time.
Meanwhile, the game seemed to finally find its match. NeuroGadget reported that a new strategy mobile game called "Heroes of Paragon" is now available. EVERYDAYiPLAY developed the game, they are the same developer behind the quite popular game "Vikings Gone Wild."
The "Heroes of Paragon" was well accepted in both Canada and Poland. As a matter of fact, the game received positive feedbacks. It was released for iOS 8.0. The report claimed that some "Clash of Clans" fans find it better than Supercell's game.
"Heroes of Paragon" comes with awesome graphics and looks amazing on devices with a bigger display.
Will "Heroes of Paragon" bring the popularity of "Clash of Clans" down? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
