South Korean tech giant Samsung has consistently been one of the most successful companies to produce cellular phones and, now, smart phones of all time.
Their competition against the American brand Apple has always been in the front page of all tech media. Samsung has produced so many phone series, which technology progresses in every model released.
While there are so many rumors going around the tech world today, the release of the new Samsung Galaxy A9 has been the most-talked about by the netizens. Although, there has been no official announcement made by the company, speculations about its specs and price are all over the Internet.
According to a report by Tech Times, the Galaxy A9 will become Samsung's bread and butter of their A-series once it is available in the market. According to the leaked information, the new Samsung Galaxy A9 will possess a super AMOLED 6-inch screen and has the same display as its predecessor A7, a full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution.
AMOLED or Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode provides higher refresh rates than passive-matrix compared to other displays.
The tech news outlet added that A9 will have 3 GB of RAM, which is the same as A7. People may think that the new model is just a copycat from its predecessor with just minor changes. However, the new model definitely has more than enough upgrade for people to realize that A7 is nowhere near the level of the new Samsung A9.
The A9 is said to have a 13-megapixel rear camera while the front snapper will have an optical image stabilizer and an aperture of f/1.9 that will surely produce quality photos even in low light.
As for the price, Phone Arena mentioned that the new Samsung A9 may come out in the market with a minimum price of $450.
According to Gadgets 360, the information about the new Samsung smart phone were gathered in a promotional video produced by the Korean company that saw the A9 together with other models, A7 and A5.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that the new Samsung A9, which is expected to feature a large 4000mAh battery, will be launched early next year and the company is expected to make the announcement before the year ends.
Although all information are just merely speculations based on the leaked material from the company's promotional video, there is no official announcement yet. Until the company makes a comment about the issue, all information will remain in the rumor category.
