Ready for more "Fifty Shades" news? It's still a long way to go before "Fifty Shades Darker," the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey," hit the big screen. And now, even in its stages of incubation, there are rumors that the sequel may have a big change in terms of its production.
According to a report from Movie News Guide, E.L. James, the author of the hit sexy fan fiction trilogy, is rumored to have replaced the director and writer for "Fifty Shades Darker." The report says that James and "Fifty Shades" original director Sam Taylor-Johnson have been having a rough patch. The author have been good friends with Taylor-Johnson ever since, but recently, they have parted ways because James is worried of losing control on the direction of "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."
James thinks that Taylor-Johnson's direction may lead her stories to another direction than what was originally penned in the books. She considers the "Fifty Shades" trilogy as her "baby" and won't let go of it. According to a previous Latin Post report, James Foley will direct the sequel, which stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.
The "Fifty Shades" author is also reportedly unhappy on writers Kelly Marcel and Patrick Marber's treatment of the story, per Movie News Guide. So to ensure that "Fifty Shades Darker" will stay true to its original story, James reportedly hired her husband Niall Leonard to write the screenplay. With a new writer and director, the news outlet speculates that "Fifty Shades Darker" may look different to "Fifty Shades Darker."
Meanwhile, in other news, a new love triangle is rumored to be blossoming. According to Enstars, Star Magazine reported Johnson has been getting too cozy with Vito Schnabel, Heidi Klum's boyfriend, and the model is not happy about it.
The magazine reports that Johnson is spotted showing some serious PDA at Manhattan's White Horse Tavern.
A source from the magazine told that the two held hands and Johnson "contain her affection for him. At one point, she hooked her thumb onto his pocket and put her head on his shoulder."
Vito, on the other hand, was more subtle in reciprocating Johnson's gesture but "he held her hand and at one point pushed her hair behind her ear," said the source.
What makes this budding love affair controversial is the fact that there have not been any news that Vito has broken up with Klum, which means that he might be cheating on her with Johnson. Klum has not yet released any comment regarding the report.
