'Friends' Reunion & Cast: Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry Dating - TV Couple Together In Real Life? [Rumors]

They played the widely popular TV couple Monica Geller and Chandler Bing on "Friends," but sources revealed that Courteney Cox, 51, and Matthew Perry, 46, are now dating in real life.

Women's Day reported that the former co-stars have hooked up after Courteney ended her engagement to Snow Patrol band member Johnny McDaid. The "Cougar Town" actress reportedly sought the comfort of Matthew, whom she remained very close to despite "Friends" ending more than 10 years ago.

"They've leaned on each other before, during her infertility struggle and his battle with addiction," said the insider in the report. "Matthew invited her over to talk one night, and they ended up hooking up!" The two are reportedly not in a hurry to label their new relationship, but the source added they are "excited to see here this might go."

Per TMZ, Courteney was engaged to McDaid in 2014 but decided to call it quits this December because of the differences in their lifestyle choices. The couple apparently tried counseling, but ended breaking up. The news outlet stated the decision was mutual. Before McDaid, Courteney was married to David Arquette for 14 years and divorced in 2013. They share a daughter together, Coco, who is already 11 years old.

On the other hand, Matthew has been linked to actress Lizzy Caplan before their split in 2012, per Sydney Morning Herald.

Courtney and Matthew's chemistry on the small screen was evident early on. "There was a real fun dynamic between the two of them," said "Friends" producer Scott Silveri via Vulture in 2013. "Without Monica and Chandler, [Friends] ends three years earlier."

The real life "Friends" reunion has had fans growing excited, even if reps for both Courteney and Matthew have yet to confirm the relationship. Many expressed their approval of the hook-up on Twitter:

Meanwhile, a conflicting report from Star Pulse stated that Courteney is actually rekindling her relationship ex-boyfriend Michael Keaton. "The spark between Courteney and Michael is still there! They're very comfortable together. He's making her feel good about herself again. They're making up for lost time," the source revealed.

Courteney and the former "Batman" star dated in 1990, just before the actress became a household name on "Friends." Their relationship ended in 1995 and it was the actress who walked away from Michael.

Courteney's other "Friends" co-star and real life best friend Jennifer Aniston is said to be happy that she is back together with Michael. "Jen's thrilled they're making another go of it. She'd love to see Courteney married and settled again!" the insider said.
