"Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds posts a sweet message for the first birthday of her daughter, James, with "Gossip Girl" actress Blake Lively, Just Jared reports.
Last year in January, it was reported that Lively and Reynolds welcomed their first child, but there was no confirmation on baby James' exact date of birth. Now, because of Ryan's greeting on Twitter, the celebrity dad has revealed her daughter's birthday.
“Happy birthday to my baby girl! Sad I lost my virginity. But thankful I have a daughter,” the 38-year-old dad said on the Twitter post.
Page Six reported that Lively gave birth to baby James in their home in Bedford, New York. According to the news outlet, the child arrived before the New Year of 2015, which is earlier than Lively's expected due date. The celebrity couple married in 2012.
Lively sat down with Us Weekly in 2014, disclosing that having a baby girl is "something that [she's] always wanted." Lively further said, "I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me."
She also said that Reynolds was always supporting her as they become parents.
