Kate Middleton News: Duchess and Duke of Cambridge Release New Family Portrait as Their Christmas Card; Couple Reveal Prince George Is Going To A Local Montessori

Prince William and Kate Middleton released a new family portrait, marking their first Christmas with Princess Charlotte. The royal family posed in their garden with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bending down with their two kids amid the autumn leaves at Kensington Palace.

Taken by photographer Chris Jelf in late October, William and Kate looked very happy being surrounded with their bundles of joy. The prince wore a dark blue sweatshirt, with a patterned polo shirt underneath, and a pair of gray pants. The 33-year-old mother of two, on the other hand, looked casual in her gray sweatshirt and blue pants.

Fans could not help it but admire to the charm that the two royal toddlers displayed in the photo. Prince George donned a knitted jumper and a schoolboy shorts, roguishly beaming while his younger sister is relaxing on her mother's lap.

It has been the tradition of the royal couple to send out Christmas cards to their brood's family and friends. Daily Mail reported that the Kensington Palace released the adorable family photograph was released on Friday.

Coinciding the recent release of the royal family's photo is the announcement that George is going to attend a modestly-priced nursery school in Norfolk next month. The prince will go to a local Montessori school which is just a few minutes away from the family's country home.

Meanwhile, Kate has been making headlines these past few months as the duchess is being pitted with Camila Parker-Bowles. The two royals are reportedly eyeing for Queen Elizabeth II's throne.

International Design Times reported that Prince Charles will have the right to make his 68-year-old spouse his rightfully Queen the moment he's crowned as the King. Sources said that Kate is afraid that this would happen since she cannot stand the possibility of Camila having a control over her.

Aside from that, the duchess is also afraid that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will use their power against Kate's family. Hence, she is now doing her best to be an improved version of herself.

As a matter of fact, Kate is now in the works to improving her public speaking skills. Insiders even claimed that the Head of the Commonwealth hired a vocal coach to help her overcome her fears speaking in front of a large crowd.
