Actress-comedian Amy Schumer has a long list of achievements under her belt, including a Golden Globe nomination, but the 34-year-old actress wants to add another title to her resume: mother. In an interview with Barbara Walters, she admitted that she is hoping to have a child one day, but doesn't know if that is realistic.
"I would love those things, but I don't really see it for myself," she told the journalist. "I hope that happens, but I don't know how realistic it is."
Schumer is among Walter's "Most fascinating People of 2015," reported The Daily Mail UK. The list also celebrates Caitlyn Jenner, Bradley Cooper, Bernie Sanders, and others.
The "Trainwreck" writer/actor/producer is often spotted being adorable with her niece, Ida, on her
Instagram account. However, she is not be focusing all her energy into trying to conceive a child soon.
Schumer is busy working on a new, still untitled comedy film with bestie Jennifer Lawrence. The two will be co-writing and co-starring in the film.
The inside Amy Schumer star will also be rocking the red carpet at the Golden Globes where she is nominated for the Best Actress award for "Trainwreck.' She will be competing with Lawrence, who is nominated for her performance in "Joy," on the same category this year, but there seems to be no bad blood between the two.
Appearing on the Late Night with Seth Meyers, the" Hunger Games" star revealed that she is rooting for her friend to take home the award. Lawrence already has nabbed two Golden Globes in the past, and she wants Schumer to have a chance this time.
She told the late night host that Schumer's in "Trainwreck" was the performance of the year. She also said she will be voting for the comedian if given the chance, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The awards night will be held on Jan. 10. British comedian Ricky Gervais is coming back to host the event.
