2015 has been a roller coaster ride for Justin Bieber. The Canadian pop superstar have been defined by several scandals, multiple arrests and public attempts to soften his image. Now, it seems like the 21-year-old YouTube sensation is ready to change his ways.
Justin divulged in a lengthy cover story for Complex magazine in its Oct/Nov 2015 issue that Christianity is one of the factors he considered upon his major comeback. "I just wanna honestly live like Jesus," the "What Do You Mean?" hitmaker told the publication. "Not be Jesus - I could never - I don't want that to come across weird. He created a pretty awesome template of how to love people and how to be gracious and kind. If you believe it, he died for our sins."
The ex-boyfriend of Selena Gomez, however, explained at that time that he is not religious at all and he is bothered with all the issues that several churches are currently facing on. He also added that he does not like the holier-than-thou attitude of some Christians.
Justin revealed that his faith has transformed his life. "We have the greatest healer of all, and his name is Jesus Christ," the "One Less Lonely Girl" singer said. "And he really heals. This is it. It's time that we all share our voice. Whatever you believe. Share it. I'm at a point where I'm not going to hold this in."
He also added that simply fellowshipping in church does not make someone a better person than others. "You don't need to go to church to be a Christian. If you go to Taco Bell, that doesn't make you a taco," Justin said.
Meanwhile, with his recent comeback to the music scene, Justin's net worth is expected to rise up. Per Celebrity Net Worth, the "Where Are U Now" singer has a net worth of $200 million at present.
His net worth is projected to rise as he is set to release three or four albums in the next few years. "I've done probably three or four albums that I haven't released yet," Justin said. "I've gotten all of these different modes, and try to dive into different ideas, and I finally came up with something that was pretty genius.
"I have these collaborations with Skrillex and Diplo, like 'Where Are Ü Now' that just took off. This is their first top 10 record," the "Baby" singer added at the time of the interview with Complex. "It just shows that we're breaking barriers in the EDM world. I think people have been trying to do it for a while, making dance music, like Usher and all of those people, but I don't think it's been done in the right way."
