Several fans have been waiting for the release of "The Winds of Winter" that reports about its release date has never subsided. Now, an editor from Ediciones Gigamesh stated that he is confident that the book will be released next year.
International Design Times shared that Alejo Cuervo was firm and assured that "The Winds of Winter" is set to be released in 2016. "It is expected next year," he said. "Well, let's see, confident...but a meteor could fall."
Moreover, in the same report, IDesignTimes informed that a member of the crew of the "Game of Thrones" season six production was sighted holding the manuscript of the said book. In other words, this could mean that the forthcoming tome is likely to come out very soon - or in the first quarter of 2016, as several fans expect. An insider divulged to the publication that the directors of the popular HBO TV series have already read the tome to study how they should shot each scene.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that "The Winds of Winter" author George RR Martin has announced that he will finish the book before "Game of Thrones" starts to air. However, up until now, no official statement from the New Mexican novelist has been made yet.
"Having 'The Winds of Winter' published before season 6 of "Thrones" airs next spring has been important to me all along. I wish it was out now. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish," the 67-year-old Martin said during an exclusive interview with ET April this year. "But I canceled two convention appearances, I'm turning down a lot more interviews-anything I can do to clear my decks and get this done."
Yibada reported that the author might be able to release "The Winds of Winter" fourth week of February. A certain BryndenBFish said that it usually talks four to eight months for the manuscript to reach the books shelves as it will undergo several processes before publishing which include editing, proofreading and printing.
If it will be released on February, it is possible that "The Winds of Winter" is now on the publishing stage. Given the fact that a lot of fans are waiting for its release, it is not going to be that surprising if they are publishing earlier.
Now that editor Alejo Cuervo expressed that he is confident that "The Winds of Winter" will be released next year, do you believe that it will be published not later than the first quarter of 2016?
