Anna Duggar is a picture of a resilient woman who makes promises and keeps them. On Sunday, the mother of four faced the cameras to talk about a very public cheating and molestation scandal involving her husband, Josh Duggar.
One the most recent special episode of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," Anna recounted the events that transpired after she, and the rest of the world, discovered her husband's infidelity. She told TLC: "When your world is shattered, there are a lot of emotions that you have to walk through and initially, it was just crying and crying and crying and then you get to a place where you can't cry anymore and start to go on with life -- and then you start crying all over again."
The 27-year-old admitted that she knew about the molestation scandal even before she married the reality star, according to Fox News. She explained that he was very honest and detailed about his life story to her parents because he wanted to court her. However, the multiple cases of cheating were complete news to her.
Earlier this year, Josh was among the celebrities named to be an active and paying member of infidelity website, Ashley Madison. Just last month, pornstar Danica Dillon (Ashley Stamm-Northup in real life) sued the "19 Kids and Counting" star after consensual sex became unexpectedly violent, reported In Touch Weekly.
Josh issued a statement owning up to the cheating allegations and admitting that he, in the past few years, has developed an addiction to Internet pornography. The political activist stated that he "deeply regrets" his actions.
Despite all these, however, Anna promises to keep her vows she made to Josh in front of God on their wedding day. The devoutly Christian wife said that she is praying that her marriage "be restored" and that she continue to "love him and forgive him."
Last Sunday's episode is only second to the three-part special centering around the stars of "19 Kids and Counting" in the aftermath Josh Duggar's molestation scandal. The third special will air on Sunday on TLC.
