‘Healthy’ Foods That Can Make You Fat

Nutrition is filled with all kinds of myths, misconception, and lies. What is generally thought to be true can be the same exact opposite of the truth.

Obesity may be caused by eating too much and people then, tend to eat healthy food. Sometimes, they eat more than enough of these foods for they consider it with less filling. Little do people know that some foods that they consider healthy can lead to obesity.

As posted on Jagran Post, a research of Raj Raghunathan from the University of Texas and his colleagues concluded that the recent increase of food with healthy labels may be ironically adding the obesity epidemic instead of decreasing it.

As posted on Authority Nutrition, here is a list of healthy or diet foods that can make you fat rather thin:

1. Breakfast Cereals - commercial breakfast cereals are high in sugar content and refined carbs and these two are fattening and very unhealthy.
