Britney Spears may be an expert on catering to her fans' tastes but is a little slow when it comes to learning about her children's demands.
On the premiere of her latest song "Ooh La La" from the Smurfs 2 soundtrack, on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show, the 31-year-old singer opened up about her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and how the duo get embarrassed when she kisses them in front of their friends, Us Weekly reported.
"My sons are 6 and 7, so they're just now getting to the stage of where you can't kiss mommy in front of your friends and all that kind of stuff," Spears, said, during the show. "They're getting what's cool and what's not."
During the chat, she also revealed that her little boys' craze for the blue creatures living inside the mushrooms had actually inspired her to do the single for the upcoming animated movie "The Smurfs 2."
"The main reason why I did it was because my boys. They're obsessed with The Smurfs. We've seen The Smurfs movie a million, trillion times and they were told they could be in the video," she explained. "My oldest son, Preston, was right on cue every time they would tell him to do something in the video. They play themselves," she said, adding that she had missed the shooting: "I got to see what they actually did on camera - and it was adorable!''
